What we check

  • • Required movement-level fields
  • • Required item-level fields
  • • EWC codes are real 6-digit DEFRA codes
  • • Physical form / weight unit / yes-no values
  • • At least one D/R code per item, and the code is valid
  • • Hazardous = Yes implies HP codes present
  • • POPs = Yes implies name and concentration
  • • Asterisk EWCs must be hazardous
  • • Every item ref exists on the movement sheet
  • • Every movement has at least one item row
  • • UK postcode format on site & carrier addresses
  • • Date received parses and isn't in the future
